GCH Argonne's GK Summer Solstice 2*M

2026 update- Summer is still kicking at the grand age of 10, looking no older than a 5yr old. Her feet and legs have held up exceptionally well along with her condition and personality . She is the dam of many of my top does and I am hoping for a few more years of breeding at least with her. She truly is a gem!  

Summer is now a finished champion and we are so excited for her! She is also the dam of our beautiful Argonne's Caldera who shows TONS of promise.

Oh Summer. The goat with a story. The best ones always have one. Her immediate relatives are unknown, without a lot of records (specifically on her sires side). However, I know those goats and knew that even though they don't have records, it doesn't mean they don't have anything to offer. Summer's sire has four daughters, and out of those four, two who have been appraised and both appraised VG89 (VVEE). One as a 2 year old 1st freshener and the other a 2nd freshener. Summer has since appraised, 07-02 EX91 (EEEE).

​Summer has one of my favorite mammary systems in my herd. The height and width of rear udder, the extension of fore, her teat placement and shape, and her will to milk going on 10 years old. Not only does she have a lovely mammary system, but tremendous general appearance. great set of feet and legs, level topline, wide, long, level rump... I can go on. She is so balanced and smoothly blended.
